Greetings Dolphin Family!

Oak Springs Elementary School is bursting with great potential to surpass all expectation and to produce learners and leaders who are ready for today and beyond! As I join the Oak Springs family, I look toward strong collaboration with students, staff, parents and community members to ensure that each scholar is motivated, inspired and challenged to develop their maximum intellectual, physical and social capacity each day.

My goal, as interim principal at Oak Springs, is to listen to the voices of the students, staff and families and gain a better understanding of what drives the success of the students, motivates and influences the staff, and cultivates the relationships with our parents and community.

I am extremely excited to embark on this relationship-building journey with all of you. Thank you for engaging in this process and thank you for welcoming me as an Oak Springs Dolphin!

Ms. Victoria O'Neal, Assistant Principal

I am very happy to join the Oak Springs family this year!  After starting my teacher career at Jean Gordon Elementary in New Orleans, I taught math and reading at Webb Middle School here in Austin.  I have also been an AISD district math specialist and coach for Prek-12, and assistant principal at Summitt and Joslin.  I have two kids, a dog, a cat, and many hobbies, including reading, knitting, cooking, and camping. Maybe my hobby actually is "keeping busy!" We are all a part of Team Oak Springs--parents, students, teachers, staff, and community--and I know we are ready to continue doing amazing work this year. Thanks for the warm welcome I have received so far!
