Ms. Cynthia Sinegal-Jackson, Principal

It is an honor and a privilege to join the Oak Springs Elementary Team. As a graduate of College and a former employee of Parque Zaragoza Recreation Center, I feel like I am returning home to a community that shaped me into a life-long learner and leader. We affectionately call the Together with the families, staff, and neighborhood partners, I look forward to us thriving as a team and school community. I am energized and committed to building relationships, supporting the whole child, and igniting a passion for learning that will last a lifetime. Ms. Victoria Boykins, Assistant Principal

Victoria Boykins is a graduate of Hutson-Tillotson University where she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in the field of Psychology and her alternative teacher certification program. Victoria began her career in education in 2018 as a second grade teacher at Widen Elementary. Understanding the importance of providing support to novice teachers, while at Widen, Victoria served as Mentor Liaison as well as being actively involved on the campus’ Campus Advisory Committee. Victoria was selected as the campus’ Teacher of the Year 20-21.  In 2022, Victoria accepted into UT’s Texas Principal Academy and AISD’s principal Residency program. She is currently an administrative intern at Graham Elementary working alongside campus administrators in the development of an inclusive learning environment. Victoria believes that all children, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background, are unique and deserve an educational experience that allows them to grow and achieve physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. Her goal as a school leader is to create a safe caring learning environment in which students and teachers are empowered to achieve to their fullest potential.
